Our Process
Expression of interest
Your expression of interest ‘EOI’ is received. The building and land contracts are then issued.
Contracts Signed
The building and land contracts are to be signed and sent to appropriate parties.
Finance
Once the unconditional finance letter is received, the 5% deposit is due and payable.
Design Preparation
Upon confirmation of your finance approval, contour plans, soil tests, engineering, and working drawings are prepared.
Settlement & Approvals
Once the land has settled, lodgement of plans is then sent to a private certifier and Council for approval, once approval is received building approval and stamped approved plans are provided to the lender.
Site Start
Following on from the issue of the building approval, a site commencement date will be issued by our building coordinator, who will also be your first point of contact during the construction process and will provide updates at each stage claim of your build.

Slab Stage
For a standard home with a slab-on-ground construction, ‘base stage’ is complete when the building’s slab is poured.

• Concrete floor slab-pouring
Frame Stage
“Frame” stage is complete when the building’s frame is finished i.e. wall frames are fixed, roof trusses are fixed, and all tie-downs and bracing are complete.

Enclosed Stage
The “Enclosed stage” stage is complete when external wall cladding, roof, external windows, and sliding doors are fixed. This excludes the garage door and hinged doors.

• Bricklaying / Cladding
Fixing Stage
“Fixing Stage” is complete when all internal linings, architraves, cornice, wet area tiling, build-in cabinets (excluding shelves) and built-in cupboards (excluding shelves and robe fitout) of your home are fitted into position. This excludes baths and stone benchtops.

• Plasterboard lining installation
• Architrave and skirting board installation
• Kitchen installation
• Wet area tiling
Practical Completion
The “Practical Completion” stage is reached when all work is completed in compliance with your contract, including all plans and specifications for the work, all statutory requirements applying to the work (as per your contract, this excludes any ‘minor defects or omissions’, which do not affect the home being occupied).

• Electrical and plumbing final fit

• General site clean up
Handover & Aftercare
On the day of handover, your supervisor will walk you through your newly completed Strike home, and you will also receive a handover pack including all of the relevant paperwork for your new home.
Included in your handover pack will be information for any defects that you may encounter and also information on your 12-month defects inspection.
Your home is also covered against structural damage by a statutory Builders Warranty for a period of 7 years.
